NI-CAN Software Problem Encountered

Thiserro r occurs if the NI-CAN Diagnostic utility detects that it is unable
to communicate correctly with the hardware using the installed NI-CAN
software.If you get this error, shut down your computer,restart it, and run
the NI-CAN Diagnostic utility again. If the problem persists, try
reinstalling the NI-CAN software for WindowsNT.

Missing Board in Diagnostic Utility

Ify our board is physically installed in your system, but is not listed in the
NI-CAN Diagnostic utility,check to see if the NI-CAN Configuration
utility has detected the board. For more information, refer to the Missing
Boardin the NI-CAN Configuration Utility section earlier in this appendix.

Hardware Problem Encountered

This error occurs if the NI-CAN Diagnostic utility detects a defect in the
hardware.If you get this error, write down the numeric code shown with the
errora nd contact National Instruments. Depending on the cause of the
hardwarefailure, you may need to repa iror replace your board.
