Viewing System Status
You can view status information of the iTap and ports. System Status indicates if the iTap is functioning correctly. If the System Status is DOWN, there is an inter- nal error. For more information, contact Net Optics' Technical Support.
In addition to the System Status, you can view the status of each iTap port and power supply as shown in Figure 16.

If a link is down, check the Port Parameters in the configuration section and submit correct settings if needed. If the link is still down, verify the communication settings of the connected devices are correct and check the cables.
