6.From the Name drop-down list, select the share, home share, volume, or external storage connection that you want to use.

If you selected timemachine, the Name field is automatically populated.

7.(Optional) Enter the path to the folder that you want the job to target or click the Browse button to locate it.

If you select an external storage device that is connected to your ReadyNAS system, you can leave the path blank to back up or recover the data at the top level of the USB device’s directory.

8.If necessary, enter the login credentials required to access the source or destination.

9.Click Apply.

Your changes are saved.

10.Click OK.

The pop-up screen closes.

Configure a Remote Job Source or Destination

To configure a remote source or destination for a job:

1.Select Backup > Backups > Jobs.

2.Select the backup or recovery job from the jobs list.

3.From the pop-up menu that displays, select Settings.
