7-10 Advanced Configuration of the Router
From the Main Menu of the browserinterface, under Advanced, click on Static Route to view the
StaticRoute menu, shown in Figure 7-4.

Toadd or edit a Static Route:
1. Selecta number and click the Edit button to open the Edit Menu, shown in Figure 7-5.

2. Typea route name for this static route in the Route Name box under the table.

3. SelectPrivate if you want to limit access to the LAN only. The static routew illnot be reported
in RIP.
4. SelectA ctiveto make this route effective.
5. Typethe D estination IP Address of the final destination .
