Usable Optional Speedlights

Usable optional Speedlights and available flash modes are listed in the

following table. Avai lable modes are listed assuming a CPU lens is attached.

•	Standby mode of optional Speedlight cannot be used. Make sure to cancel standby mode.	I
• m Auto Flash cannot be used. Set the Speedlight to A (non- m Auto Rash) or M (Manual Rash).
•	S8-280X, S8-500X and S8-23 cannot be used.
*1 Autofocus is only available with AF Micro lens (60mm, 105mm, 200mm or 10-180mm).
*2 Ultraviolet photography can be perfonned only when S8-140 is set to M. (Infrared photography cannot be
	perfonned.)

• Accessory shoe

•An optional Speed light, i.e. S8-28, S8-27 or

S8-22s can be attached directly to the accessory shoe of the N55 without a cord. This accessory shoe is equipped with a safety lock which prevents accidental drop when a Speedlight with a safety- lock pin (S8-28, S8-27, S8-26, S8-25 or S8-22s) is attached.
