Taking a Closer Look:

Playback Zoom

Press the Nbutton and rotate the main command dial right to zoom in on the image displayed in full-frame playback or on the image currently highlighted in thumbnail playback.

The following operations can be performed while zoom is in effect:

To	Use	Description
		Press Nbutton to
		display frame
	N+	showing area
		currently zoomed in.
		While Nbutton is
Zoom in		pressed, main
		command dial can be used to control size
or out
		of frame—rotate dial left to zoom out,
		right to zoom 36×24 (3 : 2) format images
	N+	in up to 27 × (large images), 20 × (medium
		images) or 13 × (small images). Release N
		button to magnify selected area to fill
		monitor.
View		Use multi selector to view area not visible
other	N+
		in monitor. Keep multi selector pressed to
areas of		scroll rapidly to other areas of frame.

View		Rotate main command dial to view same
other		location in other images at current zoom

Return to	/ K	Monitor will turn off. Photographs can be
