Matrix metering is recommended (0 116). When Active D-Lighting is on, uneven shading may be visible with some subjects, noise (randomly- spaced bright pixels, fog, or lines) may appear in photographs taken at high ISO sensitivities, the capacity of the memory buffer drops, and additional time is required to record images. Note that Active D-Lighting is not available at ISO sensitivities of Hi 0.3 or above. The Brightness and Contrast Picture Control settings (0 173) can not be adjusted while Active D-Lighting is in effect.
