B Notes About Image Editing

•This camera cannot edit images captured with another make or model of digital camera.

•Images captured using Easy panorama (A 43) or 3D photography (A 45) cannot be edited.

•If no people’s faces are detected in an image, a copy cannot be created using the skin softening function (E13).

•When using another make or model of digital camera, images edited with this camera may not be displayed properly and may not be able to be transferred to a computer.

•Editing functions are not available when there is not enough free space in the internal memory or on the memory card.

•To edit an individual image in a sequence of images (E6) when only the key picture is displayed, perform one of the following procedures:

-Press the kbutton to display a sequence of images as individual images and select an image in the sequence.

-Set Sequence display options (E52) in the playback menu to Individual pictures to display them as individual images and select an image.

C Restrictions on Image Editing

When an edited copy is further modified with another editing function, check the following restrictions.

Editing function used	Editing functions that can be added
Quick retouch	The skin softening, small picture, or crop function can be used.
D-Lighting	The quick retouch, D-Lighting, and filter effects functions cannot be

Skin softening	The quick retouch, D-Lighting, filter effects, small picture, or crop

Small picture	Another editing function cannot be added.
Crop

•Copies created with editing functions cannot be further edited with the same function used to create them.

•When combining the small picture or crop function and another editing function, use the small picture and crop functions after other editing functions have been applied.

•You can apply skin softening to images that were captured using skin softening (E40).
