Using Face Detection

1If the camera detects both people and pets in the same shot, the camera can detect up to 12

faces.

2If the camera detects a person’s face and a pet’s face in the same shot, it focuses on the pet’s face.

If no faces are detected when the shutter-release button is pressed halfway, the camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame.

You may hear the sound of the camera focusing.
