Making Effective Use of Memory: Image Quality and Size

Together, image quality and size determine how much space each photograph occupies on the memory card. This in turn determines the total number of photographs that can be stored. To get an idea of how different settings for image quality and size affect the number of images that can be stored on a memory card, view the following table, which shows the approximate num- ber of photographs that can be stored on 16 MB, 64 MB, and 128 MB cards at different combinations of image quality and size.
