Select how the photographs will be joined together. This is the direction you

will pan the camera between each shot.

Take first photograph. White balance and exposure settings for this photo- graph will apply to all photographs in series.

About one third of photograph will appear in monitor superimposed over view through lens. If you are panning from left to right, the picture will be displayed on the left side of the moni- tor. AE-L icon in monitor turns white to show that exposure has been set with first shot.

Use a Tripod

Using a tripod makes it easier to compose shots so that they overlap.
