Exp. +/–

The Exp. +/– (exposure compensation) menu al- lows you to alter exposure from the value sug- gested by the camera. Exposure can be adjusted in the range –2.0 EV to +2.0 EV in increments of 1/3 EV. Choose negative values to make your pic- tures darker, positive values to make them brighter.

Confirming Exposure Compensation

At values other than ±0, exposure compensation is displayed in the monitor.
