CImage Mode

The setting can also be changed in shooting modes other than A (auto) mode by tapping the dtab to display the menu options and then tapping the A.

Changes made to the image mode setting are applied to all shooting modes.

Some functions cannot be used with other menu options (A66).

CNumber of Exposures Remaining

The following table lists the approximate number of images that can be saved on a 4 GB memory card. Note that due to JPEG compression, the number of images that can be saved varies greatly depending on the composition of the image. In addition, this number may vary depending on the make of memory card, even when the memory cards have the same specified capacity.

Check the shooting screen for the number of images that can be saved when saving to the internal memory (approx. 71 MB).

1The number of exposures remaining is displayed on the shooting screen when 50 or fewer remain (A22).

2If there are 10,000 or more pictures saved in the camera, “9999” is displayed on the playback screen as the current frame number or total number of frames.

3Print size at an output resolution of 300 dpi. Print sizes are calculated by dividing the number of pixels by printer resolution (dpi) and multiplying by 2.54 cm (1 in.). However, at the same image size, images printed at higher resolutions will print smaller than the size indicated, and those printed at lower resolutions will print larger than the size indicated.
