Capturing Still Images While Recording Movies

If the shutter-release button is pressed all the way

while recording a movie, one frame is saved as a still

image (except when Movie options (A 148) is set

to piFrame 540 (960×540)). Movie recording

continues while the still image is being saved.

A still image can be saved when Q is displayed at

1 7 m 3 0 s

the top left of the monitor.

Q is not displayed while saving still images. Another still image cannot be saved until Q is displayed again.

The image size of the saved still image depends on the Movie options (A148) settings. The compression ratio is approximately 1:8.
