Choose whether or not a welcome screen is displayed when the camera is turned on.

None (default setting)

The camera enters shooting or playback mode without displaying the welcome screen.

COOLPIX

The camera displays a welcome screen and enters shooting or playback mode.

Select an image

Displays an image selected for the welcome screen. When the image selection screen is displayed, select an image (A123) and press the kbutton.

•As the selected image is saved by the camera, it will be displayed when the camera is turned on even if the original image is deleted.

•Images captured at an Image mode (A47) setting of o3968×2232, images

captured using easy panorama, copies created at a size of 320 × 240 or smaller using the small picture (A138) or crop (A139) function, and still images saved while recording high-definition or Full HD movies (A142) cannot be selected.
