ISO Sensitivity

Rotate the mode dial to A, B, Cor DMdbutton MA, B, C, or D menu icon MISO sensitivity Mkbutton

A higher ISO sensitivity allows darker subjects to be captured. Additionally, even with subjects of similar brightness, pictures can be taken at faster shutter speeds, and blurring caused by camera shake and subject movement can be reduced.

When a higher ISO sensitivity is set, images may contain noise.

Sensitivity is automatically selected from the range of ISO

(default setting)

125 to 1600.

IFixed range auto

125, 200, 400, 800,

Select the range in which the camera automatically adjusts ISO sensitivity, from ISO 125-400or ISO 125-800.

1600, 3200, 6400

Sensitivity is locked at the specified value.

C ISO Sensitivity Display on the Shooting Screen

When Auto is selected, Eis displayed when the ISO sensitivity increases.

When Fixed range auto is selected, the maximum value for ISO sensitivity is displayed.
