voice tag | A recording of a user’s voice that is assigned to a phone |
| book entry. Voice tag is used in conjunction with voice |
| dialing feature (see voice dialing). |

volume | See earpiece volume or ringing volume. |
|

warning tones, | The tone played when your phone displays a warning, or |
game tones | those tones that are heard when you are playing one of |
| the phone’s games. |

|
WAP | Wireless Application Protocol. WAP is a new section of |
| the Internet designed to provide information and services |
| to you, and viewable from your mobile phone’s screen. |

|
wirelessnetwork | Your service provider’s operating environment, including |
| various types of hardware, software, and landline |
| connections, which makes wireless calls possible. |

|
World Wide Web | The part of the Internet that is viewed using a special |
| software application called a web browser. The browser |
| in your Nokia phone can access many sites on the World |
| Wide Web, as well as sites designed specifically to be |
| browsed from a mobile phone (see WAP). |
