Installing the MISP

Step Action

1Remove the cover from the system.

ATTENTION

IMPORTANT!

Wear the static discharge bracelet located inside the system before handling circuit cards. Failure to wear the bracelet can damage the circuit cards.

2Remove the MISP from its shipping package and hold it by its card-locking devices.

3Insert the MISP into the selected card slot and lock it in place.

4Observe the behavior of the LED on the faceplate of the MISP to determine its status:

The LED lights, flashes three times and then stays lit – the MISP is operating correctly but is not configured and enabled.
