Introduction

This chapter describes some ISDN BRI functional tests used to verify the operation of ISDN BRI equipment. The tests include basic call connections, voice and data transmission, and verification of some features using ISDN BRI terminals. Testing of an ISDN BRI trunk DSL is also included.

The tests are divided into:

voice calls

circuit-switched data calls

B-channel and D-channel packet data calls, using an external packet handler and an MPH
