Generating traffic reports

Introduction

This chapter describes how to generate traffic reports to verify that the traffic generated during voice and data transmission testing has been stored by the system and can be printed on demand. To verify traffic generated during acceptance testing, use the following command:

INVS (options)*

The asterisk (*) denotes that the ENTER key must be pressed after the desired option numbers are entered.

Reports are generated using one or more of the following option numbers.

Network traffic report

11ISDN BRI MISP and/or BRSC traffic report

12ISDN BRI MISP and/or BRSC D-channel management messages report

13ISDN BRI MISP and/or BRSC messages report

14Trunk DSL system traffic report

15MPH traffic report

For example, to verify ISDN BRI traffic generated during acceptance testing, select the network traffic report and the MISP traffic report as follows:

INVS 1 11

The system printer should print these two reports. Check the reports to make sure the traffic generated during the test is reflected in the reports.
