Troubleshooting

This chapter provides solutions for some of the problems you may encounter

while using the CR8e subsystem.

Common Enclosure Problems

Symptom Reason Solution
Fails to power on. Power cord not connected
properly.
Power not available at the
outlet.
Power switch not in the
proper position.
Faulty fuse.
Faulty power cord.
Verify that the power cord is
properly connected to the power
module.
If the CR8e is plugged into a
three-hole grounded outlet,
verify if power to the outlet has
been interrupted. This can be
accomplished by testing the
outlet with a known working
appliance, like a lamp.
Be sure that the power switch is
in the “ON” position, labeled “I”.
Replace fuse, see Replacing a
Fuse on page 62.
Replace power cord.
If the CR8e is not responding,
