Notes
•The time required to format cards differs depending on the capacity of cards. For example, formatting may take about 1 minute for 512 MB card. Do not interrupt the formatting process by opening the card cover or the battery cover. Doing so will damage the data or card.
•When the card is formatted, all the stored data, including locked files, are erased.
•If an unformatted card is inserted, the recorder automatically displays the format option in the menu.
