Connecting the Speaker Cables

The following illustration shows which speaker should
be connected to each pair of terminals.

Connecting a Powered Subwoofer

Using a suitable cable, connect the DVD receiver’s SUB-
WOOFER PRE OUT to an input on your powered sub-
woofer, as shown.

Speaker Impedance

If the impedance of any of front speakers is 4 ohms or
more but less than 6, set the speaker impedance to
“4:~16:”.
Note:
Change of the settings may be required for some speak-
ers (see page55).
1Strip about 15 mm of insu-
lation from the ends of the
speaker cables, and twist
the bare wires tightly, as
shown.
2Unscrew the terminal.
3Fully insert the bare
wires.
4Screw the terminal tight.
