Controlling Other Components—Continued

Controlling a Satellite Receiver or Cable Receiver

By pressing the REMOTE MODE button that’s been programmed with the remote control code for your sat- ellite receiver, cable receiver, or DVD recorder (DBS/PVR combination or cable/PVR combination), you can control your player with the following buttons.

For details on entering a remote control code for a differ- ent component, see page 82.

AON/STANDBY button

Set the component to On or Standby.

BGUIDE button

Displays the onscreen program guide.

C Arrow [Manual background]/[ ]/[Manual background]/[Manual background ] and ENTER buttons

Used to navigate menus and select items.

DSETUP button

Displays the setup menu.

EREPEAT button

Works as the green (B) button.

FSEARCH button

Works as the red (A) button.

GNumber buttons

Enter numbers. The [+10] button works as a +10 button or “-.--” button.

HDISPLAY button

Displays information.

IMUTING button (48)

Mutes or unmutes the AV receiver.

JCH +/– button

Selects satellite/cable channels.

K VOL [Manual background]/[ ] button (47)

Adjusts the volume of the AV receiver.

LPREV CH button

Selects the previous channel.

MRETURN button

Exits the menu.

NAUDIO button

Selects foreign language soundtracks and audio for- mats (e.g., Dolby Digital or DTS).

OPlayback buttons

From left to right: Previous, Next, Rewind, Play, Fast Forward, Pause, and Stop.

PRANDOM button

Works as the blue (C) button.

QPLAY MODE button

Works as the yellow (D) button.

RCLR button

Cancels functions and clears entered numbers.

*With some components, certain buttons may not work as expected, and some may not work at all.
