Follow these steps to clean the tape- handling parts on your system’s cas- sette decks.
1.Turn off the system, then unplug its power cord.
Note: Unplugging the SYSTEM 745 clears the CD changer’s pro- grammed sequence memory but does not clear stations in memory or category/subcategory names.
2.Press STOP/EJECT on both cas- sette decks. Both cassette com- partment doors open.

5.When you finish cleaning, press STOP/EJECT on both cassette decks to release the play mecha- nisms, then close both cassette compartment doors and reconnect power.
