Shooting in High Sensitivity Mode

BNotes on High Sensitivity Mode

This mode reduces effects of camera shake even for shooting under low lighting; however, when shooting without the flash, use of a tripod is recommended. Turn Vibration reduction (A131) Off when using a tripod.

Pictures taken in this mode may appear grainy as ISO sensitivity has been set to a high value.

As the ISO sensitivity is fixed at 640 and over, proper exposure may not be obtained in clear weather (pictures may be overexposed).

Focus may not be precisely fixed in extremely dark places.

CFunctions Available in High Sensitivity Mode

Settings can be changed for Flash mode (A30), Self-timer (A32), Macro mode (A33) and Exposure Compensation (A34).

Pressing the d button in high sensitivity shooting mode allows you to change the settings for all options in the shooting menu (except ISO sensitivity (A99)).

-The Image mode (A100) setting for High sensitivity mode can be chosen from M Normal (2048) (default setting), N PC screen (1024), O TV screen (640) or m 16:9 (1920).

-The image mode setting in the high sensitivity mode is stored separately and is not applied to other shooting modes.
