Basic Photography and Playback : Auto Mode

Step 1 Turn the Camera On and Select A(Auto) Mode

This section describes how to take pictures in A(auto) mode, an automatic, “point- and-shoot” mode recommended for first-time users of digital cameras.

1 Press the power switch to turn on the camera.

The power-on lamp (green) will light for a moment and the monitor will turn on. The lens will extend.

Proceed to step 4 when Ais displayed on the monitor.

2Press the Abutton.

3 Use the rotary multi selector to choose Aand

 

 

 

Auto mode

press the kbutton.

 

 

The camera enters A (auto) mode.

Number of Exposures Remaining

The number of exposures remaining will be displayed.

The number of pictures that can be stored depends on the remaining capacity of the internal memory or memory card and the image mode setting (A101).
