Image Searching (Auto Sort Mode)

Pictures and movies will automatically be sorted in any of the following folder names after shooting them.

If the Fauto sort mode is selected, you can display the pictures and movies by selecting the folder name sorted in shooting.

a Smile	DPortraits	u Food
U Landscape	V Dusk to dawn	D Close-ups
D Movie	X Retouched copies	W Other scenes

In full-frame playback mode, just as with the normal playback mode, picture displays can be enlarged, the thumbnail playback can be done, pictures can be edited, and voice memos can be recorded, played back, and sorting of images into a favorite folder can be done. Also, all images sorted in the same folder can be deleted at the same time and print set and protect can be set at the same time.

Displaying Pictures in the Auto Sort Mode

1Display the playback-mode selection menu by pressing the c button in playback mode, use the

rotary multi selector to select F,	Auto sort
and then press the kbutton.

•The auto sort folder list screen appears. See “Types of Folders and their Content”

(A68) for more information about the sort folders.

•The pictures in the folder are displayed.

2 Choose a folder and press the kbutton.

More on Playback

•Pictures in the selected folder will be displayed in full- frame playback.

•The icon of the folder being played back currently will be displayed in the top right of the screen.

•Press the k button to sort the displayed image into a favorite folder (A72).
