■Sound Setting

Problem

No sound from left, right, front, or rear speaker

Left and right sounds are reversed in stereo listening.

No sound from center speaker (Option)

Only bass or monaural sound from rear speaker

No sound from rear speaker preout (rear)

No sound from the pre- out <sub-woofer out- put>

Possible cause / Possible solution

Left and right balance, or front and rear balance is off on one side. aAdjust BAL/FAD as appropriate.

Cables are not correctly connected.

aConnect the cables correctly.

The right speaker wire is connected to the left speaker and the left speaker wire to the right speaker.

aConnect the speaker wires to the correct one.

Center speaker volume is set to – ∞.

aSet center speaker volume to other than – ∞.

SBC-SW is set to ON.

aSet SBC-SW to OFF.

SBC-SW is set to ON and DDBC volume to – ∞. aSet DDBC volume to other than – ∞.

DDBC volume is set to – ∞.

aSet DDBC volume to other than – ∞.

■Remote Control

Problem

Buttons are invalid for operation.

Possible cause / Possible solution

Battery polarities (+) (–) are reversed.

aInsert the batteries correctly.

Wrong batteries

aCheck the batteries.

Batteries have run down.

aReplace the batteries.

Remote control is in the wrong direction.

aDirect the remote controller at REMOTE (sensor) on the panel.
