Selecting the [REC] Mode

When the [REC] mode is s elected, the camera c an be set to the Intellig ent auto mode in

which the optimal set tings are established in line with the subjec t to be recorded and th e

recording conditions, or to the Scene mode which enable s you to take pictures that match

the scene being rec orded.

Turn the camera on.

A[REC]/[PLAYBACK] selector switch

switch to [!].

there is no mode will not turn.)

The subjects are reco rded using settings automatically selected by the camera.

The subjects are recorded using your own settings.

This allows yo u to take pictures that match the s cene being rec orded.

This mode allows you to record motion pictur es with audio.
