Taking Pictures using Macro Mode

This mode allows you to take pictures closely focusing on the subject. (E.g. When taking pictures of flowers.)

You can take pictures with the lens at a distance of 0.16 feet (5 cm) (Wide) from the subject.

¬Suggestions/Tips ¬

In Macro mode, we recommend using a tripod.

When the camera lens is at a distance over the available range from the subject, the subject may not be focused even if the focus indication lights.

You can also set the Program shift. (P35)

The available flash range is about 1.31 feet (40 cm) – 13.1 feet (4 m). (When setting to ISO AUTO)
