Using the Optical Zoom
	With this function, you can make people and

	optical zoom, and landscapes can be
	captured in wide angle.

	• Set the mode dial except for [ ]. (P25)

1Aim the camera at the subject and adjust the size with the zoom lever. To make subjects appear closer (Tele): Rotate towards T.

To make subjects appear further away (Wide angle):

Rotate towards W.

2Take a picture.

•The recording method is the same as in “Taking Pictures”. (P28)

• The focus is adjusted at a distance of more

•The picture may be slightly distorted according to the lens. The distortion will increase as you make subjects wider and closer.
