Using the Optical Image Stabilizer

When using this function, you can minimize shutter jiggle.

[Preparation]

Set the mode dial except for [ ]/[ ]. (P25)

When too much jiggle happens or when taking a picture chasing a moving subject, it may not be stabilized.

The stabilizer function may be less effective in the digital zoom zone.

When taking pictures with a low shutter speed such as night portrait, the stabilizer function may be less effective.

When the zoom lever is close to T and the shutter speed is slower than 1/125, the shutter jiggle alert 2 appears.

We recommend using a tripod when the shutter jiggle alert appears.

In simple mode [ ], the stabilizer function is fixed to [ON].
