[NORMAL SCENERY]

The focus adjusts onto far away subjects as a priority.

[NATURE]

The best setting for photographing natural scenery.

[ARCHITECTURE]

This setting takes sharp photographs of architecture. The guide lines are displayed. (P32)

[CREATIVE SCENERY]

The shutter speed (P80) can be changed in the [NORMAL SCENERY] setting.

Note

•It produces motion pictures using settings suitable for recording scenery during the motion picture recording.

•The flash setting is fixed to [Œ].

•The focus range is 5 m (16.4 feet) to ¶.

[SPORTS]

Set here when you want to take pictures of sports scenes or other fast-moving events.

[NORMAL SPORTS]

Controls the ISO sensitivity while stopping movement with a high shutter speed.

[OUTDOOR SPORTS]

Fast shutter speed for stopping movement when taking photographs outdoors in good weather.

[INDOOR SPORTS]

Increases the ISO sensitivity and increases the shutter speed to prevent blurring for indoor photography.

Where higher ISO setting is used, the photo may show slightly more noise. This is normal, this is not a malfunction.

[CREATIVE SPORTS]

The shutter speed (P80) can be changed in the [NORMAL SPORTS] setting.

Note

•It will be a normal motion picture recording during the motion picture recording.

•This mode is suitable for taking pictures of subjects at distances of 5 m (16.4 feet) or more.

•When the camera is set to [STABILIZER] and there is very little jitter, or if [STABILIZER] is set to [OFF], shutter speed may slow down up to 1 second.
