International Dialing The international access code (+) and the destination country/region code
should be entered, followed by the area code and phone number.
1From Idle press and hold # until “+” is displayed
2 Enter country/region code (e.g. 44 for the UK; 81 for Japan)
3 Enter area code and phone number
4 Press C
Emergency Calls An emergency call may be made even when SIM is not fitted to t he phone,
however, the antenna symbol ( ) must be present.
Enter 911 press C.
Ending a Call To end a call, press D
Note: Many countries/regions include an initial “0” in the area code. This
should, in most cases, be omitted when dialing international numbers. If
you have difficulties making international calls, contact your Service Pro-
vider.
Note: Making Emergency calls without a SI M installed is country or net-
work operator dependent.
