Life Time

The Life Time is the duration that your messages are stored at the Message

Center.

Delivery attempts will be repeated until the message has been delivered or

the Life Time expires.

From Idle press <, select Messages > Setting > SMS/EMS >

Life Time. Press <

Select from Defaults, 1 hour, 12 hours, 1 day, 1 week or Maximum to set

the time after which messages are automatically deleted. Press <

Messaging Protocol

From Idle press <, select Messages >

Setting > SMS/EMS > Protocol. Press

Select the appropriate protocol for sending

messages. Press <

Delivery Confirmation Setting

From Idle press <, select Messages >

Setting > SMS/EMS > Report. Press

Select Yes to enable delivery confirmation for

your messages, No to disable the function and

Ask to prompt the message recipient to

acknowledge receipt. Press <
