Fixed DialTheFixed Dial Store is part of Phonebook, but with additional
security.When the security feature Fixed Dial is switched on it
isonly possible to make calls with phone numbers that are in
theFixed Dial Store.
WhenFixed Dial is switched on any manually dialled phone
numbersmust match a phone number in the Fixed Dial Store.
Tostore, edit or delete a phone number in the Fixed Dial Store
“FixedDial” must be switched on – see “Security” page 38. With
FixedDial switched on, all phone numbers can be added,
editedor deleted as normal, but you will be asked for PIN2 –
see“Phone Security” page 16.
“Wild” Numbers
Wildnumbers are spaces that can be stored in
aphone number. The “wild” numbers must be
filledbefore the phone number is dialled. In
thisway a call can be restricted to a specific
areaby storing the area code of a phone and
whenrecalled the remainder can be added.
The“wild” numbers can be anywhere within a
storedphone number.
