Cancelling a Handset

Each handset can cancel itself or another handset.

1Press PROG then I N T .

2Press 7 .

3Enter the base unit password (p. 23).

The current registered handset number(s) is/are displayed.

Ex. Handset 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are registered.

4Enter the handset number(s) you want to cancel.

The selected handset number(s) flash(es). Ex. Handset 6 is cancelled.

If you misdial, press the number(s) again.

5Press PROG .

A confirmation tone sounds and the display will return to the stand-by mode.

Cancelling a base unit

If another handset is out of range and/or its power is OFF when “Cancelling a Handset”, the previous base unit number will still remain in the cancelled handset. Therefore, you need to cancel the base unit registered in the cancelled handset.

1Press PROG .

2Press G or F until “F70” is displayed.

3Press O K .

4Enter the handset password (p. 23).

Registered base number(s) is(are) displayed.

Ex. Registered base units: 1, 2 and 4

5Press the cancelling base unit number

1to 4 .

The selected base unit number flashes.

6Press PROG .

A confirmation tone sounds and the display will return to the stand-by mode.
