Selecting the Stand-by Mode Display

You can choose whether to display the currently connected base unit number, handset number or no display while in the stand-by mode. The factory preset is the base unit number.

1Press PROG .

2Press G or F until “F3 i ” is displayed, then press O K .

The current setting is displayed. 1: Base unit number

2: Handset number 0: No display

3Press G or F to select the desired setting.

You can press 1 , 2 or 0 to select the setting.

4Press PROG .

A confirmation tone sounds and the display will return to the stand-by mode. Ex. Handset number is selected.

Bell Selection

There are three choices for bell selection. When a call is being received:

all handsets ring. “All handsets”

the selected handset(s) ring(s). “Specified handset(s)”

the selected handset rings first, then if it does not answer, all other handsets will ring. “First handset”

The factory preset is “All handsets”. To change the bell selection, program as follows.

You can choose which handset(s) you want to ring.

1Press PROG then I N T .

2Press 1 .

3Enter the base unit password (p. 23).

The current setting is displayed. 1: All handsets

2: Specified handset(s)

3: First handset

Ex. All handsets is selected.

4 Press 2 .

The current registered handset number(s) is/are displayed.

Ex. Handset 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are registered.

5Enter the handset number(s) you want to ring.

The selected handset number(s) flash(es).

If you misdial, press the number(s) again.

6Press PROG .

A confirmation tone sounds and the display will return to the stand-by mode.
