Intercom
Intercom calls can be made:
–between the base unit and handset
–between handsets
Note:
LIf you receive an outside call while talking on the intercom, you hear 2 tones.
–To answer the call with the base unit, place the corded handset on the cradle, then lift it again. If the speakerphone is used, press
–To answer the call with the handset, press {OFF}, then press {C}.
LWhen paging unit(s), the paged unit(s) beeps for 1 minute.
Making an intercom call
=Base unit
1Proceed with the desired operation.
■ When 1 handset is registered: Press {INTERCOM}.
■ When 2 or more handsets are registered: Press {INTERCOM}.
–To page a specific handset, enter the handset number.
–To page all handsets, press {0} or wait for a few seconds.
L Lift the corded handset if needed.
LTo stop paging, press {INTERCOM}.
2When you finish talking, press {INTERCOM} or place the corded handset on the cradle.

1{MENU} i{#}{2}{7}{4}
2To page the base unit, press {0}.
To page another handset, enter its extension number.
L To stop paging, press {OFF}.
3When you finish talking, press {OFF}.
Answering an intercom call
=Base unit
1Lift the corded handset or press {INTERCOM} to answer the page.
2When you finish talking, place the corded handset on the cradle or press {INTERCOM}.
YHandset
1Press {C} to answer the page.
2When you finish talking, press {OFF}.
Handset locator
You can locate a misplaced handset by paging it.
1Base unit:
{LOCATOR}
L All registered handsets beep for 1 minute.
2To stop paging:
Base unit:
Press {LOCATOR}.
Handset:
Press {C}, then press {OFF}.
Transferring calls, conference calls
Outside calls can be transferred or a conference call with an outside party can be made:
–between the base unit and handset
–between 2 handsets

1Proceed with the desired operation.
■ When 1 handset is registered:
During an outside call, press {INTERCOM}.
■ When 2 or more handsets are registered: During an outside call, press {INTERCOM}.
–To page a specific handset, enter the handset number.
–To page all handsets, press {0} or wait for a few seconds.
