How to insert the disc

Insert label-up.

Press [<OPEN/CLOSE] on the main unit to open the tray and

 

insert a disc. (Press the button again to close the tray.)

 

It is not possible to play continuously from one side of a

 

double sided disc to the other. You will need to eject the disc

 

and turn it over.

 

≥[RAM] Remove the disc from its cartridge before use.

Unit care

The precision parts in this unit are readily affected by the environment, especially temperature, humidity, and dust. Cigarette smoke can also cause the unit to break or malfunction.

Clean this unit with a soft, dry cloth.

Never use alcohol, paint thinner or benzine to clean this unit. Before using chemically treated cloth, carefully read the

instructions that came with the cloth.

Do not use commercially available lens cleaners as they may cause malfunction. Cleaning of the lens is generally not necessary although this depends on the operating environment.

Do not place the unit on amplifiers or equipment that may become hot.

The heat can damage the unit.

[Note]

Do not obstruct the rear panel’s internal cooling fan.

Before moving the unit, ensure the disc trays are empty. Failure to do so will risk severely damaging the discs and the unit.
