Connection

Caution:

Before starting connections, make sure that the power connection (24 V AC power cord or LAN cable) is discon- nected. Failure to observe this may cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the product.

A READILY ACCESSIBLE DISCONNECT DEVICE SHALL BE INCORPORATED TO THE EQUIPMENT POWERED BY

24 V AC POWER SUPPLY.

Power cable

Connect the power cable to the 24 V AC power sup- ply using the 24 V AC power supply connector kit (accessory).

IMPORTANT:

The power supply of 24 V AC shall be insulated against 120 V AC (for U.S. and Canada) or 220 V - 240 V AC (for

Europe and other countries).

Do not cut or process the network cable since the power is superimposed when using a PoE+ device for power sup- ply. Besides, do not put an excessive weight on connected sections.

The network camera is only intended for a connection to an ethernet or PoE network without routing to the outside plant.
