Cleaning the Printer
WARNI NG: To avoid an electric shock, make sure that the prin te r is sw itche d O FF a nd di sconnected from
the mains supply before you clean it. Do not let water get inside the printer.
CAUTION: Do not use abrasive cleaners on the printer.
NOTE: Any maintenance or repairs beyond those described in this chapter should be done by a
qualified service technician.

Cleaning the Printer Exterior

Clean the outside of the printer as required with a damp sponge or a soft cloth and a mild house hold cl eaner su ch
as non-abrasive liquid soap.
