How to recall the [Set-up] menu
Changing the Start-up Screen
Images recorded with the Optio 430RS/330RS can be displayed
as the start-up screen when the camera is turned on.
zSelect [Start-up Screen] on the [Set-up] menu.
xPress the four-way controller ( ).
cPress the DPOF button.
vUse the four-way controller ( ) to select the image
you want to use as the start-up screen.
bPress the Playback/OK button.
nUse the four-way controller ( ) to select (On) or
(Off).
mPress the Playback/OK button twice.
The camera is ready to capture or play back images.
Once set, the start-up screen is not deleted even if you erase the
original image, or the format of the built-in memory or CF card.

Setting the Date Style
You can set the style in which the date is displayed on the camera.
Choose [mm/dd/yy], [dd/mm/yy] or [yy/mm/dd].
zSelect [Date Style] on the [Set-up] menu.
xUse the four-way controller ( ) to change the date
style.
cPress the Playback/OK button.
The camera is ready to capture or play back images with the
selected date style.
Changing the Date/Time
You can change the initial date and time settings.
zSelect [Date Adjust] on the [Set-up] menu.
xPress the four-way controller ( ).
The date screen will be displayed.
See “Initial Settings”(p.16) for the setting procedure.
