Battery Level Indicator

You can check the battery level by the symbol displayed on the LCD monitor.

 

(lit green)

: Adequate power remains.

 

 

 

 

(lit green)

: Battery is running low.

 

 

 

 

(lit yellow)

: Battery is running very low.

 

 

 

 

(lit red)

: Battery is exhausted.

 

[Battery depleted.] : After the message is displayed, the camera will turn off.

Using the AC Adapter (optional)

If you intend to use the LCD monitor for a long time or connect the camera to a PC, use of the AC adapter D-AC2 (optional) is recom- mended.

zMake sure that the camera is turned off before opening the terminal cover.

xConnect the DC terminal on the AC adapter to the DC input terminal on the camera.

cConnect the AC plug cord to the AC adapter.

vPlug the AC plug cord into the power outlet.

Caution • Make sure that the camera is turned off before connecting or disconnecting the AC adapter.

Make sure that the AC plug cord and connecting cord are inserted securely. If the cord becomes disconnected while you are taking pictures, the data may be lost.

When using the AC adapter D-AC2, be sure to read the operation manual accompanying the AC adapter.
