Changing the AF Area (Focusing Area)
You can change the range of the autofocus area.
Multiple Normal area
Spot The area becomes narrower.
zSelect [Focusing Area] on the [Rec.Mode] menu.
xUse the four-way controller ( )
to change the setting.
cPress the Playback/OK button.
The camera is ready to take the pic-
ture.
The AF area does not appear in the viewfinder.Always check the
focusing area on the LCD monitor.

Manual Setting

zSelect [ ] (manual) on the white
balance screen.
xPoint your camera at a blank sheet
of paper so that it fills the screen.
cPress the Display button.
Adjustment will start and [Adjusting]
will appear on the LCD monitor.When adjustment has been
completed, [Complete] will appear on the LCD monitor and
the screen will return to the menu screen.
vPress the Playback/OK button.
The camera is ready to take the picture.
If the Display button is again pressed while [Adjusting] is displayed
on the LCD monitor, the white balance adjustment will be repeat-
ed, starting from the beginning.Press the Playback/OK button to
cancel adjustment while in progress.
