De omtreklus is de meest voorkomende indeling. Hierdoor kan uw huisdier zich vrij en veilig bewegen over uw gehele perceel (2C). Ook kunnen zwembaden en tuinarchitectuur beschermd worden (2D).

Voorbeeld 2 (2E): Omtreklus met bestaande omheining (enkele lus)

Met deze indeling kunt u uw bestaande omheining onderdeel van de indeling laten uitmaken en zo voorkomen dat uw huisdier eroverheen springt of eronderdoor graaft. De hoeveelheid draad die ingegraven moet worden, wordt hiermee verkleind. Vanaf de omheiningszender loopt de draad naar A, A naar B, B naar C, C naar D, D naar E, E naar A, draai de draden van A terug naar de omheiningszender. Dubbele lus

Er dient een dubbele lus gebruikt te worden wanneer de grenszone niet aan alle zijden van uw perceel wordt ingesteld.

Bij gebruik van een dubbele lus moet de grensdraad minimaal 1-1,5 m (3-5 ft) gescheiden zijn om te voorkomen dat het signaal opgeheven wordt. Denk eraan dat voor een dubbele lus twee keer zoveel draad nodig is.
