Het ingraven van de grensdraad

Het ingraven van de grensdraad is bedoeld om deze te beschermen en te voorkomen dat het systeem wordt uitgeschakeld.

1.Graaf een geul van 2.5-7.6 cm diep, langs de geplande grens.

2.Plaats de grensdraad in de geul en zorg voor wat extra ruimte waardoor de draad bij temperatuurvariaties kan uitzetten en krimpen.

3.Gebruik een bot gereedschap zoals een roerhoutje om de grensdraad in de geul te duwen. Zorg ervoor dat u de isolatie van de grensdraad niet beschadigd.

Bevestigen van de grensdraad aan een bestaande omheining

De grensdraad van de PetSafe® In-Ground Cat Fence™ kan worden bevestigd aan een gaashek, een houten afbakening, of een houten schutting. De grensdraad kan zo hoog als nodig worden bevestigd. Echter, u dient er wel voor te zorgen dat de grensbreedte een bereik heeft, dat hoog genoeg is om het signaal te ontvangen in de halsband van uw huisdier. Als u een dubbele lus gebruikt bij een bestaande omheining van tenminste 1 m hoog, dan kunt u de grensdraad over de bovenkant van het hek laten lopen en terug over de onderzijde, zodat de scheiding van

1 tot -1,5 m gewaarborgd is.

•Gaashekwerk (7A): Weef de grensdraad door de gaten of gebruik plastic tie-ribs.

•Houten omheining met balken of een schutting (7A): Gebruik nietjes / krammen om de grensdraad te bevestigen. Voorkom dat de isolatie van de grensdraad wordt doorboord.

•Dubbele lus met een bestaande omheining: Voer de grensdraad over de bovenzijde van de omheining en terug door de onderzijde van de omheining om de

1 tot -1,5 m scheiding te verkrijgen die nodig is.

•Hek (Enkele lus) (7B): Graaf de grensdraad

in, tegenover de poortopening. Opmerking: Het signaal blijft actief langs het hek. Uw huisdier kan niet door het open hek heen.

•Hek (Dubbele lus) (7B): Graaf de grensdraden in tegenover de poortopening, waarbij u een tussenruimte van 1 tot -1,5 m instandhoudt..
