Dag 31 en verder - training met toon alleen

Nadat de training is afgerond, kan het zijn dat overgestapt wordt naar modus 'enkel toon'. Uw huisdier zou nu de toon moeten begrijpen en direct reageren om te voorkomen dat het zich in de correctiezone begeeft.

Opmerking: U kunt uw huisdier maandelijks een opfristraining geven, of in elk geval om de maand, waarbij u de halsband omschakelt naar modus tooncorrectie en de eerdere fasen van de training opnieuw doorloopt. Deze voortdurende training zal uw huisdier helpen zich goed te gedragen in het bewegingsgebied.

Uw huisdier uit het bewegingsgebied halen

Belangrijk: Verwijder de ontvangerhalsband en laat deze achter in het bewegingsgebied.

Nadat uw huisdier de grenszone kent, zal het moeite kosten de grens over te gaan voor uitlaten of weggaan met de auto.

Optie 1: Vervang de ontvangerhalsband door een gewone halsband. Plaats uw huisdier in een auto binnen de toegelaten zone en rijd de zone dan uit.

Optie 2: Vervang de ontvangerhalsband door een gewone halsband en riem. Loop met uw huisdier de toegelaten zone uit, waarbij u bij een specifieke plek in de grenszone (het eind van de oprit, de stop bijv.) een bepaald commando geeft, zoals "OK". Verlaat het bewegingsgebied zone altijd aan een riem op dezelfde plek en uw huisdier zal het verlaten van de toegelaten zone, aan een riem, op deze plek, met een persoon met elkaar gaan associëren. Het kan nodig zijn dat uw huisdier wat overreding nodig heeft om de zone te verlaten; geef bijv. een snoepje en prijs het dier uitbundig.

Opmerking: U kunt uw huisdier ook buiten de zone dragen.
