Aanvullend grensdraad

Extra, direct in te graven, grensdraad kan worden gekocht per spoel van 150 m bij de winkel waar u de kit heeft gekocht of via de klantenservice.

Opmerking: Als u meer grensdraad toevoegt, zorg dan dat de continu-lus intact blijft.

In de tabel aan de rechterzijde vindt u de lengte (bij benadering) grensdraad die nodig is voor een vierkante, enkele lus indeling. De lengte kan verschillen afhankelijk van de hoeveelheid gewikkeld draad en de indeling die wordt gebruikt. Denk eraan dat voor een dubbele lus twee keer zoveel draad nodig is.

Stap Verbinden van de draden aan de omheiningszender

Grensdraad (4A)

4	1. Trek de grensdraad tot aan de omheiningszender door een raam, onder een deur,
	door de kruipruimte of ventilatieruimte, of een andere geschikte toegangslocatie.
	U kunt ook een gat in de muur boren.
	2. Strip de uiteinden van de grensdraad tot ca. 1,3 cm (1/2").
	Voer de grensdraad in de grensdraadaansluitingen op de omheiningszender.
	3. Zorg ervoor dat de draden elkaar niet raken bij de aansluitingen.
	4. Stel de grensbreedtecontroleknop in op 10. Hiermee wordt de waarschuwingszone
	op maximale breedte ingesteld.
	5. Steek de stroomadapter in een werkend stopcontact. De stroomadapter wordt
	geleverd met de Noord-Amerikaanse stekker geïnstalleerd en aanvullende stekkers
	voor GB en Europa. Zijn verkrijgbaar voor het vervangen van de stekker:
	a. Druk het klepje op de stroomadapter in en verwijder de stekker	4B
	door deze, zoals getoond, weg te schuiven (4B).	4B

	b. Schuif de juiste stekker voor uw stopcontact op de stroomadapter,
	zoals getoond (4C).
	6. De lampjes voor voeding en lusindicatie moeten nu aangaan. Als dit
	niet gebeurt, kijk dan in de sectie "Probleemoplossing".

Aardingsdraad (4D)

Correcte aarding verkleint de kans op overspanning, waardoor uw omheiningszender of stroomadapter beschadigd kunnen raken, al is het niet noodzakelijk voor de werking van het systeem. Om uw unit te aarden heeft u een enkelvoudige (geen meervoudige) aardingsdraad nodig (geïsoleerd koperdraad 1,2 tot 1,9 mm dikte) Verbindt het ene uiteinde van de aardingsdraad aan de aardingsaansluiting op de omheiningszender en het andere uiteinde aan de aardingsstaaf. De aardestaaf moet tenminste 90 cm worden ingegraven en zo dicht mogelijk bij de omheiningszender worden geplaatst.

De omheiningszender is ook uitgerust met een 250 Volt, 1/2 Amp zekering, om het elektronische circuit te beschermen tegen overspanning (stroomschokken).

De zekering bevindt zich achter het (open te schuiven) deksel aan de achterzijde van de omheiningszender. Een reservezekering is meegeleverd.
